Production

While I was pursuing my mass communication diploma, I have also been on the other side of the camera producing. video content. You can find the documentary my friends and I did, where I helped build the story flow and operated the camera. I hope to continue exploring this form of content in the future!

Documentary: A Whole Village

A Whole Village is a story about Dax, a child whose schedule is packed full of extra-curricular classes, and Samantha, his mother. It was produced for our Documentary Production Module, where we went through the full filmmaking process. The documentary explores both viewpoints, including the effects of Samantha's double role as an educator, as observations by experts suggest a rise in the number of stressed children in Singapore. It aims to show the delicate balance that is a child’s upbringing and is reflected in the quote the title is adapted from, “It takes a whole village to raise a child”.
